BUSY,BUsy,busy

We have been so busy, well actually we have been busy since Presley was born! Seems as though there is never any extra time to rest! So that is why there hasn't been a post recently, but this will catch ya up on our past two weeks! Enjoy!

Daddy and his lil' punk princess...March 17th 2009, our 4 year wedding anniversary, this is what I found when I got up in the morning to make the baby a bottle...The picture isnt near as pretty as the actual necklace! It is beautiful, and Manuel picked it out himself I didn't even hint this time haha :) 1ct. platinum. He is amazing!Our anniversary fell on a Tuesday this year so we decided to just go out to dinner & do something special on the weekend. So we wore our green for St. Pattys day and went out for corned beef and cabbage...Stopped to say hi to Grandma...Presley liked the big glass of green beer...& this is what happends when you drink all that green beer, green teeth!After all these years, your'e still the one...My lil' boo boo taking a nakey nappy :)Mommy and daddy dropping off Presley at Grammy's for the night...Chihuly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Gardens..Chaeli at the garden, wondering why we paid 30.00 to look at some cactus...

Okay good, it's not just cactus...Such a beautiful sunset & amazing weather...Arizona sunset...No joke, that is the shirt Manuel wore to our wedding! If you know the story behind our wedding you know why...We had a great time together, we were alittle worried at first we wouldn't have much to talk about besides Presley lol everyone says once you have children you forget what it is like to be alone, but we did just fine :) We did keep saying "Pres would love these lights, Pres would..., Pres..." haha Afterwards we went out to Black Angus for dinner, yummy, and had a nice steak & wine dinner & chocolate fudge cake mmm! Presley/Nun ;)

Sale,Rocks,New carseat

What a weekend, whewww! We had a yard sale at my gram's house on Saturday that wore us out. Sunday we found free landscape rock on craigslist, and decided at the last minute that we would go pick it up. So we got two trucks (ours and my dad's) and headed to South Gilbert to get 10 tons of rock! We are soooo lucky to have such a wonderful & helpful family! My mom, dad, sisters,Manuels nephew, sisters boyfriend, moms next door neighbor and son all came to help us. It took 7 trips but we got it all, oh man we were soooo sore the next day! Luckily we had so many people because it wasnt easy to do all that shovelin'!!! We didn't have anyone to watch Presley so she came along and sat with our friend Brandy and watched all the craziness :) We switched Pres' carseat to a "big girl seat". She HATED her baby seat, her feet hung off it and it was just too small for her so we got her a new Britax one. She loves it! She can sit up now while we drive instead of being forced to lay back, and she can see out the window. She has also learned a new "trick"... she now blows bubbles/spits. It was cute at first until she started doing it during bottles & baby food. It is still cute but it makes a big mess! I took a video of her doing it during peas, hopefully I can figure out how to put it on here. Well thats all for now, I gotta get in the shower before our new fav. show 'Life on Mars' comes on. Playing with the tag on her dolly, I used to love tags when I was a baby & would rub them so much that they would fall off and my Gram would have to sew on a new one for me to rub :) Just like her mommy... Ive noticed her doing this 3 times now.

Weekend fun

--Saturday Mommy, Daddy, and Presley went shopping all day! Presley loves to shop, there is so much to look at & she loves flirting with all the people.

--From Presley ;)::Sunday we had a picnic at the park with Grandpa, Grandma,Aunties & Auntie Caelas boyfriend. Grandma gave me people food (mashed potatoes) and mommy almost had a heart attack! I can't wait until I am bigger I just know Grandma will give me anything I want, who could deny these big brown eyes?! I played on the slide and on a turtle, Grandpa took me on a swing all by myself and Grandma swung with me on her lap, it made me sleepy! Mommy, Auntie Sam and Grandpa played softball and daddy took pictures. I wanted to fall asleep after the soothing swing ride with Grandma but they wouldn't let me because we still had to feed the ducks. I love birds and always look for them when I hear them in the trees so Mommy thought I would like to see the ducks. They didn't make noise like the birds though so I wasn't that interested. I had so much fun, and when I got home I took a long nappy!

Presley being naughty ;) This is Monday night, We were in the office and Manuel and I were fixing the printer... We turned our back to Pres for probably half a minute and when we turned back around Presley had spit up on the floor and was sitting up in her swing (which she isn't supposed to do, the swing is made to lay in haha) and she was "finger painting" with her spit up! Yuck! She just thought it was the greatest thing! I told Manuel, we are in trouble... She did this while locked up in her swing, imagine the stuff she is going to get into when she can crawl or walk! Oh boy! Time to start childproofing the house!!!
